"When leads slip through the cracks, my competition gets the business without me even fighting for it. It's my job to see that never happens, and Service Dispatch Systems has developed the kind of tool that can quickly become a sales manager's new right hand. I know how many leads my salesmen are processing, how many sales are being closed and by whom, and get reports on advertising effectiveness, service contracts, and equipment aging to guide my telemarketing efforts for replacements or add-ons. Because the system incorporates customer e-mail addresses, it's internet-ready for economical web-based marketing."

Command Post 3000 puts tools into the sales manager's hands that are powerful AND flexible. He puts the built-in lead tracking system through its paces every day, and evaluates the return on investment for each of the advertising avenues he uses. He can consolidate a series of events for his customer base (such as warranty expirations or filter change-outs) and make sure that his department has prepared the proper promotional approach for those opportunities, AND that his salespeople don't let anything slip between the cracks.

The Flat Rate and Time & Material books not only look professional to prospective customers, they ARE the professional approach to selling profitably in a competitive business environment. The sales manager can build customized books using portions of the main Flat Rate books that he wants to incorporate. A "Salesman's Book" is usually a subset of the main books used by mechanics that the sales manager organizes according to his best judgment. It's usually more focused on the kinds of situations the salesmen will encounter in the field, as compared to the mechanic's Flat Rate book, which is usually the most encompassing in the Command Post 3000 system.

How well his troops are "closing the sale" is a matter of record in this program, and the sales manager puts that information to the best possible use by providing targeted incentives to stimulate sales, and to weed out unproductive salesmen (or sales approaches) and apply effective methods to maximize his department's productivity for the company.

Command Post 3000 provides the dispatcher with the ability to walk a mechanic through difficult routes to customer locations using accurate drive directions and displays map routes from one customer to another. The system automatically fills in page and grid coordinates for any map used by your company. You can zoom in and zoom out and scroll the map in any direction for enhanced control dispatch control. In combination with its powerful automatic dispatching and the real-time "closest mechanics" lists, Command Post 3000 improves dispatching efficiency by 20%-30% efficiency over competitive systems.

Getting a handle on warranty status and equipment aging is the key to tracking future leads and potential service calls during slow seasons. You have a complete listing on your customers' installed equipment, which is critical during ordering of material or parts for your them. You can save them money and increase your sales. The system allows you to insert pictures of the installed equipment as a historic record of its condition, which defuses heated fingerpointing as to the original state of the equipment.

The heart of any service business is promoting and maintaining customer relations through maintenance contracts, which ensure a steady service load for mechanics. Command Post 3000 is designed to allow the service manager to track maintenance contract obligations by giving him what he needs to know about when the service is due, with followup alerts to target contracts that have not been completed in a reasonable time from their scheduled date. This tool not only allows the service manager to maintain evenly balanced workloads for his mechanics, but it also gives him potential TELEMARKETING information for increasing sales while allowing the sales department to contact customers concerning additional add-on accessories for their existing systems.

With most installation companies, getting costing and sales commissions paid on a timely basis is hampered by the lack or tardiness of material coming in from the field, coupled with poor communication between salespeople, the office, and the field staff. Tracking begins in the salesman's flat rate book, which generates the estimate and the breakdown for the system. All material is printed and relayed to the construction manager with a complete inventory and equipment breakdown. A flat rate job number is assigned to every new system, which is then pulled from existing jobs and tweaked to meet the needs of that individual customer. Using the job number permits immediate costing, which pays the salesman, pays the mechanics, pulls stock from inventory, and gives the owner an immediate breakdown of profit. You often encounter jobs you regretted taking on, but with this system that should only happen once, because it can identify and eliminate jobs that aren't costed properly, while preventing your salesmen from being either underpaid or overpaid. This only scratches the surface of how Command Post 3000 puts control back in your hands.
